Testimonials

“On the fifth anniversary of the death of my father, Joseph Dorsa, I would like to make a donation to the Monsignor Tribou College Scholarship Fund to commemorate his memory.  My father was always very impressed with the education his grandson, Jay Carman, received as a student at Catholic High School  Dad admired the role Monsignor Tribou played in the development of these young men by cultivating respect, faith, integrity, and community in them throughout these crucial formative years.

Personally, I feel the endeavor of this group of men to establish and maintain a scholarship fund to provide and opportunity to financially challenged students to realize their college aspirations is commendable.  I hope I can continue to support the effort many times in the future.”

“Hello, my names Jesus Rivera. I graduated from Catholic High back in 2010 and I’m a current undergraduate at the University of Central Arkansas. I was blessed to have received the first annual Fr. Tribou Scholarship. I still remember hearing the announcement of it through the intercom as if it just happened yesterday. The idea of transitioning from a senior from high school to a freshman in college was a scary thought. There were issues of living in a new home, making new friends and the worse of all was the finances. Once it came time for the payment for my first semester of college, I was relieved to know that the scholarship would cover it all and I could focus on my courses and settling in. I was grateful to have the help and I still am til this very day. The hard work and dedication I put into getting this scholarship taught me that anything is possible if you just try. I never participated or received anything throughout the first three years of high school and I felt that I need to change that and do something that will benefit me. I still live with that mentality of trying anything and with this mentality it has helped me succeed in life and it’s taken me so far from having a 3.1 GPA through my college career to being a personal trainer at LA Fitness. I can’t thank God and the brothers of the Fr. Tribou Scholarship Foundation enough for the opportunity they have given me. It was a life changing experience and I will never forget it.”
